ABSU Announces Limited Vacancies for 2023/2024 Regular Degree Programmes

In an official statement released today, Abia State University, Uturu, has informed parents, guardians, and prospective candidates about the remaining limited vacancies for admission into regular degree programmes for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session. The University emphasized that limited slots are available in various academic programmes, excluding Law, Medicine & Surgery, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health.

Prospective candidates are urged to take note of the following important instructions:

1. University Choice: Candidates must ensure that Abia State University, Uturu, is selected as their first choice university. Those who have not yet made this selection are advised to promptly update their choice on the JAMB portal.

2. O'Level Results: Ensure that your O'Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal for proper consideration.

3. Programme Change: Candidates who applied for professional programmes such as Law, Medicine & Surgery, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health and are yet to secure admission are advised to consider changing to other available programmes.

4. JUPEB Programme: Graduates of the University's Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme will be given due consideration alongside Direct Entry candidates.
