ABU Celebrates 63rd Anniversary, Commends Alumni Contributions

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria recently celebrated its 63rd anniversary, honoring its distinguished alumni who have made significant contributions to national, regional, and global development.

The university recognized the achievements of notable alumni, including former President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar and Namadi Sambo, as well as prominent figures in politics, law, industry, and traditional institutions.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, praised the alumni community for their outstanding contributions, citing their impact on the nation's development. He specifically acknowledged the current Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Dr. Tajuddeen Abbas, and the Governors of Kaduna, Zamfara, and Katsina states, all of whom are alumni of the university.
