Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has officially matriculated more than 11,000 newly admitted students into various undergraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The matriculation ceremony, held at Mamman Kontagora Square on the university’s main campus along Funtua/Sokoto Road, Samaru, Zaria, Kaduna State, was a significant event marking the beginning of the academic journey for the fresh students.

Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kabiru Bala, welcomed the students to the prestigious institution, emphasizing the university's commitment to academic excellence. He urged them to remain focused on their studies and adhere to the university’s rules and regulations. He also cautioned against involvement in illegal clubs and associations both within and outside the campus.
