Achievers University in Owo and John Kollyns Technical Training Institute in Akure have joined forces to create a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing educational and technical training opportunities. 

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 15th, 2024, marked a significant milestone in the collaboration between these two institutions.

Achievers University and John Kollyns Technical Training Institute will combine their resources and expertise to offer comprehensive training programmes. Their focus is on producing highly qualified engineers and technicians who can meet the demands of the engineering and technical sectors.

Students from Achievers University's Departments of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering will have the opportunity to undertake industrial training at the Institute. This practical experience, lasting up to three months during their third year of study, will prepare them for real-world technical challenges.
