Admiralty University of Nigeria Visits Delta State Surveyor General Over Proposed Faculty of Environmental Sciences

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christopher Bankole Ndubisi Ogbogbo, led the university’s management delegation to the meeting held in Delta State. He was accompanied by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Navy Captain Professor Isah Rambo Saidu; the Registrar, Navy Captain A.T. Abdullahi; the Bursar, Navy Commodore Emmanuel A. Onu; and the University Librarian, Navy Commander A.E. Ameobi, alongside other members of staff.
The team was received by the Surveyor General of Delta State, Surveyor Eboka A.C., who hosted the delegation alongside senior officials including the Deputy Surveyor General, Agbeka Wilson; Deputy Surveyor General B. Avose P.A.; Chief Surveyor Agbaire Evi E.; and other members of the survey department.
Discussions during the visit focused primarily on the proposed Faculty of Environmental Sciences and other areas of institutional collaboration, particularly in relation to land administration, geospatial planning, and environmental studies.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the university’s commitment to expanding academic programmes that respond to emerging environmental and developmental needs, noting that strategic partnerships with relevant government agencies remain critical to achieving that goal.
The Surveyor General and his team welcomed the initiative and expressed readiness to support constructive engagement with the university toward the successful establishment of the proposed faculty and other collaborative efforts.

The visit concluded with mutual assurances of continued engagement between both institutions in areas of academic and technical relevance.
