The Management of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has announced a strict prohibition on the pasting of posters, handbills, and banners on all university buildings with immediate effect.

In a circular issued today, February 2, 2026, the Academic Secretary, Abubakar Ahmed Vokna, acting on behalf of the Registrar, warned that the practice is a violation of institutional regulations regarding campus maintenance.

The university administration emphasized that the unauthorized display of advertisement materials on walls "defaces university property" and "undermines the beauty of the environment."

To maintain order and aesthetic standards, the management has directed all stakeholders—including departments, student associations, research groups, and external bodies—to utilize only designated notice boards for all approved announcements and publicity materials.

The memorandum made it clear that any individual or group found disregarding this directive will face appropriate sanctions. The University Security Unit and the Directorate of Campus Maintenance have been tasked with ensuring strict compliance with this new policy.

This move is part of the broader efforts by the current administration to enhance the physical infrastructure and environmental appeal of the Mubi-based institution.
