ADSU Pro-Chancellor Leads Delegation to NSUK for Strategic Collaboration

A delegation from Adamawa State University (ADSU), led by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Maxwell Gidado SAN OON, and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Augustine Clement, paid a working visit to Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK).

The visit aimed to strengthen academic partnerships and foster inter-university cooperation.

The meeting between the two institutions focused on forging academic linkages, joint research opportunities, staff and student exchange programs, and other areas of mutual interest. Both parties discussed ways to enhance academic capacity, innovation, and national development through collaboration.

The Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, highlighted potential areas of collaboration, including:

- Postgraduate training

- Resource sharing

- Gender studies

- Entrepreneurship development

- Capacity building for faculty and administrative staff

Prof. Augustine Clement expressed his commitment to building sustainable and impactful inter-institutional partnerships. He noted that ADSU is keen on expanding its academic reach, improving research output, and fostering innovation through collaboration with institutions like NSUK.

The visit concluded with an exchange of goodwill gestures, including a symbolic gift from NSUK to ADSU, and both parties expressed optimism about the future of their collaboration.
