ADUSTECH SUG President Issues Critical Guidelines for NELFUND Beneficiaries Regarding Registration Deadlines

The President of the Students' Union Government (SUG) at Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Sen. Hassan Sunusi Kani, has issued an important directive to students who have applied for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

In a statement released today, December 30, 2025, the SUG President clarified the registration procedures for students whose NELFUND status has been updated to “Disbursed” or “Verified” on their dashboards.

Addressing concerns regarding the university portal’s synchronization with NELFUND disbursements, Sen. Kani reassured the student body that their interests are being protected.

"For those whose NELFUND status shows disbursed but are yet to be cleared on the university portal, be rest assured that the SUG will continue to protect your interests," the President stated. He further guaranteed that no student will be penalized for late registration even if the central deadline elapses, provided they have paid their Union dues.

The announcement concluded with a call for calm, as the SUG continues to liaise with the university management to ensure that the transition to the new funding model does not disadvantage any student.

Students are encouraged to visit the Official ADUSTECH Portal to complete their Union dues payments and monitor their registration status.
