UTME Subjects and Scores:
- Applicants are required to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB and obtain competitive scores.
- ABUAD specifies a minimum UTME score of 180, although higher scores enhance the chances of admission.
- UTME subjects taken should align with the proposed program of study, with common subject combinations tailored to respective disciplines.
- ABUAD must be selected as the first-choice institution during UTME registration.
Post-UTME Screening:
- Shortlisted candidates meeting the O’Level and UTME cut-off marks will undergo the post-UTME screening exercise.

Direct Entry Admission:
- Direct entry into the 200 level requires candidates to possess five O’Level credit passes as previously outlined.
- Additional qualifications accepted for direct entry include ND (Upper Credit), NCE (Merit), IJMB (8 points), JUPEB (8 points), or their equivalents.
- UTME may be optional for direct entry placement.
- Available direct entry options at ABUAD encompass programs such as B.Sc. Accounting, LL.B Law, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm Pharmacy, among others.
- Applicants holding HND qualifications may also be considered for admission into the 300 level, subject to a screening procedure.
