This week, the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja hosted a significant workshop on "Harnessing Data Governance for National and Regional Development." The event, held at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), was organized in collaboration with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) and CSEA.
The workshop offered a comprehensive exploration of data governance's role in fostering development at both national and regional levels. Participants engaged in an array of informative and interactive sessions, gaining valuable insights into the management and strategic use of data.

Tsegban Moses Terdue, a key attendee and surveyor, noted the workshop's effectiveness in promoting dialogue on crucial data governance issues.
