Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation Screens ABU Students for Scholarship Awards

The Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has commenced a screening exercise for students of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) for scholarship awards. The foundation, established to honor the legacies of the university's founder, has been providing scholarships to students from the 19 northern states since 2012.

The screening exercise, which is expected to take a day or two to complete, aims to identify prospective beneficiaries of the scholarship award for the 2024/2025 academic session. The Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Munnir Jafaru, expressed gratitude to the university management for allowing them to use the campus for the exercise.

The Vice-Chancellor of ABU, Prof Adamu Ahmed, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Prof Ahmed Doko Ibrahim, welcomed the foundation's delegation and expressed optimism that ABU students would benefit significantly from the scholarship. He appreciated the foundation's consistent support for the university's students.
