Ahmadu Bello University Calls for Nominations for Honorary Degrees at 45th Convocation

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has issued a call for submissions of proposals for the award of honorary degrees at its upcoming 45th Convocation Ceremony.

The university invites its Visitor, Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, officers, members of Council and Senate to nominate deserving individuals for this honor.

Nominations should be for persons of outstanding character and merit who have distinguished themselves in their field of specialization, community service, public service, commerce, business, industry, science, technology, or the arts. The deadline for submission of proposals is December 3, 2025. Each nomination must be accompanied by a detailed justification and curriculum vitae of the proposed candidate, and must be submitted under confidential cover to the Registrar.
