Ahmadu Bello University has introduced a load-shedding regime in student hostels from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm daily to promote efficient electricity consumption.

The university has also reaffirmed its ban on the use of electrical appliances, such as electric cookers and boiling rings, in student hostels and academic areas.
