Ahmadu Bello University Strengthens Ties with Huawei

Ahmadu Bello University's Vice Chancellor, Professor Adamu Ahmed, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Huawei's Abuja office, reaffirming the institution's commitment to its long-standing relationship with the global ICT giant.

The visit, which took place on May 14, 2025, aimed to explore opportunities for mutual benefit and discuss key areas of cooperation and support. The university seeks to further leverage its partnership with Huawei, building on their successful collaboration since 2018.

Notably, ABU became the first Huawei ICT Academy Support Centre (iASC) in Nigeria and has since expanded its reach, training instructors from over 10 countries. The university's commitment to digital learning and innovation is evident in its ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with industry leaders like Huawei.
