Patigi passed away in a private hospital in Abuja after returning from India, where he had been receiving medical treatment.
Known for his significant contributions to education and politics, the late Hon. Aliyu Bahgo Ahman Pategi was a revered figure in Kwara North, having served in the Federal House of Representatives. He was not only a prominent politician but also the founder of Ahman Pategi University, where he dedicated himself to spreading the light of education among his people.
