Akperan Orshi Polytechnic, Gboko (AOPOLY) has announced a ban on specific items and activities on campus. This directive, issued by Comrade Nguor Nicholas, Media Director and Publicity Officer of the National Union of Benue State Students (NUBESS) at AOPOLY, outlines prohibited items and activities that students must avoid to ensure a conducive exam atmosphere.

The prohibited items include bags, as well as white shirts or clothing with visible writing, which are not allowed on campus during the examination period. In addition, activities such as celebrations, gatherings of any kind, and noise-making or any form of disturbance are strictly banned.

The administration has cited security concerns and the need to maintain a focused environment as primary reasons for these measures. "To ensure security and maintain a focused environment, these restrictions have been put in place," stated Comrade Nicholas.

Students are warned that non-compliance with these regulations will result in disciplinary action, which may include expulsion from the examination hall or even the campus itself. The polytechnic administration emphasizes the importance of adherence to these rules to foster an orderly examination process.
