Al-Ansar University Receives Council of Legal Education Approval to launch its Bachelor of Laws Degree

Al-Ansar University Maiduguri (AUM) has received approval from the Council of Legal Education (CLE) to launch its Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree Programme. This milestone achievement follows a successful Facilities Verification Exercise conducted by the Nigerian Law School Board of Studies.

The approval, granted during the CLE's quarterly meeting on October 28, 2025, certifies AUM as compliant with the CLE's rigorous standards for establishing a College of Law. The university has been allocated an initial quota of 50 students at 100 Level.

Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, hailed the development as a major victory for the Northeast, showcasing AUM's commitment to academic excellence and nation-building. The LL.B programme aims to produce ethical, competent, and justice-driven legal professionals contributing to Nigeria's legal and socio-economic advancement.
