Anambra State Government has celebrated students from Christ the King College (CKC) Onitsha for winning gold at the 2024 World Affairs Challenge held in Denver, Colorado. The ceremony took place at the CKC premises in Onitsha and was attended by key education officials, including the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh.

Prof. Chuma-Udeh praised the students for their achievement, noting that CKC is one of the top secondary schools in Nigeria. She expressed pride in the students for bringing honor to the state and country.

The event also saw commendations from Dr. Vera Nwadinobi, Chairman of the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), and Prof. Nkechi Ikediugwu, Chairman of the Post Primary School Service Commission (PPSSC). Both officials acknowledged the school's excellence and the principal's dedication to mentoring young minds.

Rev. Fr. Dr. Celestine Arinze Okafor, Principal of CKC, described the students' success as a testament to the power of innovative education. He emphasized the importance of addressing global challenges through practical solutions.
