ASR Africa Announces Scholarship Scheme for Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Students

The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) is pleased to announce its annual tuition scholarship grant scheme for Nigerian students at Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN) in Kano State.

The scholarship scheme, open to fresh and current students, aims to support academically capable students from low-income families achieve their dream of a university education.

Eligibility criteria for fresh students include:

- Minimum of 8 credits in WAEC/NECO examinations

- Distinctions obtained at the SSCE level will be an added advantage

- Minimum score of 200 at the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

- Applicants must not be more than 22 years

- Valid proof of identity and state of indigene

Current students must have a strong GPA with a minimum of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 and provide letters of recommendation from Professors or Academic Advisors.

The scholarship covers various courses, including Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Science, Radiography, Biochemistry, and more.

Application opens on September 5, 2024, and closes on September 15, 2024. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
