In a historic achievement for Augustine University, three recent graduates from the Department of Economics—Miss Emmanuella Lloyds, Miss Faith Lasisi, and Mr. Ifeanyi Chude—were formally inducted into the Nigerian Economic Society (NES). The induction ceremony, held at the University Convocation Hall on October 22, 2024, marked the first time alumni of Augustine University joined the prestigious professional body.

The event, which was attended by university officials, NES President Prof. Adeola Adenikinju, and other members, celebrated the academic accomplishments and promising futures of the inductees. This milestone reflects Augustine University’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting graduates in advancing their careers.
