Awka Based Security Company Owner Grants Scholarships to UNIZIK Students
In a heartwarming display of philanthropy, Ozo Jeff Nweke, the proprietor of Blue Shield Security Company Limited in Awka, has awarded university scholarships to four deserving individuals. The beneficiaries, Ms. Nama Hope Chidera, Okonkwo Johnson, Alieze Samson, and David Emmanuel, were chosen based on their financial need and academic potential.
In a heartwarming display of philanthropy, Ozo Jeff Nweke, the proprietor of Blue Shield Security Company Limited in Awka, has awarded university scholarships to four deserving individuals. The beneficiaries, Ms. Nama Hope Chidera, Okonkwo Johnson, Alieze Samson, and David Emmanuel, were chosen based on their financial need and academic potential.
At a ceremony held at the company's headquarters in Awka, Ozo Nweke announced his commitment to cover the school fees and personal upkeep of the recipients throughout their studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Anambra State. To kick-start their academic journey, he distributed a total sum of N4.5 million among them, ensuring they have the necessary resources for their registration fees and initial three months at the university.

Ozo Nweke urged the scholarship recipients to be diligent, maintain high moral standards, and steer clear of negative influences such as cultism. He shared valuable advice, stating, "Any wealthy person or accomplished person you see passed through challenges and made sacrifices to be where he or she is. You have the potential of great achievers, but if you do not work hard to maximize those potentials in you, they will all perish in you."
Ngama Hope Chidera, who hails from Ebonyi State and has been admitted to study English Language and Literary Studies, expressed tears of joy and gratitude. She recounted her struggles in pursuing education, revealing that she started funding her education from primary three through hair braiding. Ngama described the scholarship as a "major breakthrough" and her "only hope" to fulfill her dream of obtaining a university degree.

Other beneficiaries, Okonkwo Johnson (Statistics), Alieze Samson (Education Management and Policy), and David Emmanuel (Philosophy), also expressed their gratitude and admiration for Ozo Nweke's act of kindness.

Mr. Ikechukwu Chinweze, the Director of the education scholarship scheme, disclosed that Ozo Nweke has invested approximately N100 million in funding the program since its inception, emphasizing that the initiative is specifically targeted at indigent students.
The beneficiaries, overwhelmed with gratitude, collectively praised Ozo Nweke as their "life saver" and "destiny helper," referring to him as an "Angel in disguise." They expressed their hopes for a brighter future and vowed to make the most of the opportunity presented to them.
