Ayomide Adeleye, the Murderer of Female FUNAAB Student, Linked to Multiple Kidnappings in 2023 and Has Four Accomplice Friends
Ayomide Adeleye, an OOU student, has been linked to multiple kidnappings and murders, including the recent killing of FUNAAB student Christianah Idowu. He and his four accomplices are now in police custody, facing public demands for justice
New revelations have emerged surrounding Ayomide Adeleye, the 23-year-old student from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), who is currently in police custody for the abduction and murder of Christianah Idowu, a student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). According to fresh reports, Adeleye was involved in the kidnapping of two other women in 2023, expanding the scope of his criminal activities.
Adeleye, who was recently handed over to the Lagos police by the Nigerian Army, has also been identified as the leader of a group of four accomplices. These friends, who have yet to be named, allegedly work alongside him to carry out a range of illegal operations in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, where their activities have terrorized residents.
Adeleye’s history of violence is disturbing, with confirmed reports of him committing two murders prior to Christianah's killing—an innocent woman in 2018 and his own sister in 2020. His recent crimes, coupled with the involvement of his criminal associates, have heightened public outrage.
The community, friends, and advocates for justice are calling for not only Adeleye but also his accomplices to face the full wrath of the law. They vow that these heinous crimes will not go unpunished, insisting that both Adeleye and his associates be held accountable for their actions. Public sentiment remains firm that justice must be served for the victims and that the criminal network operating under Adeleye must be dismantled.
