Ayra Starr Demands Justice for Murdered FUNAAB Student, Idowu Christiana

Nigerian music star Ayra Starr has expressed her outrage following the brutal murder of Idowu Christiana, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). Christiana was allegedly killed by her friend, Ayomide Adeleye, a suspected serial killer.

Taking to her official X page, Ayra Starr condemned the tragic act, calling for swift justice. "Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristiana," she wrote, amplifying the call for action against violence targeting women.

Investigations revealed that Adeleye, a close friend of Christiana, kidnapped, murdered, and buried her on his property. Disturbingly, Adeleye had also been linked to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and sister in previous incidents in 2018 and 2020.

Ayra Starr’s statement sheds light on the growing concern over gender-based violence in Nigeria, with many urging authorities to take decisive action.
