Bauchi State Government Constitutes Visitation Panel for Sa'adu Zungur University

The Bauchi State Government has taken a decisive step towards addressing pressing concerns at Sa'adu Zungur University, Gadau, by constituting a high-level Visitation Panel.

The panel, approved by Governor Bala A. Mohammed, aims to undertake a comprehensive review of the university and provide actionable recommendations to restore stability and foster academic excellence.

The Visitation Panel, composed of nine eminent professionals and education experts, is chaired by Prof. Gambo Laraba Abdullahi. The panel's terms of reference include investigating the causes of the ongoing strike, reviewing financial operations, examining academic programs, evaluating infrastructure, and assessing governance structure.

The Bauchi State Government reassures the university community and the public of its commitment to the growth and stability of Sa'adu Zungur University. The panel has eight weeks to complete its assignment and submit a detailed report to the government.

The government urges all stakeholders, including staff, students, and the public, to cooperate fully with the panel during its assignment.
