Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Relocates School of Management Studies to New Complex

The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State, has relocated its School of Management Studies to a newly completed complex. The complex, constructed with the 2021/2022 Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) annual intervention, provides state-of-the-art facilities for students and staff.

According to the Dean of the School, Dr. Lawan Cheri, the complex accommodates two departments - Marketing and Banking and Finance - and features five classrooms, a model banking hall, a simulation room, and two conference rooms. Dr. Cheri praised the management's efforts in addressing the institution's infrastructure challenges.

The new complex is the fifth to be constructed with Tetfund intervention in the institution, following previous projects in the schools of Environmental Studies, General Studies, Science and Technology, and Engineering Technology. The relocation is expected to significantly improve the learning environment and academic experience for students in the School of Management Studies.
