Bayero University Kano Announces New Appointments and Re-appointments

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the appointment and re-appointment of several staff members to various positions, effective immediately.

According to a statement from the university, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, has approved the following appointments:

1. Dr. Kabira Bello Dungurawa, Department of Education, has been appointed as the Chairman, Board of the BUK Staff Secondary School, effective December 28, 2024.

1. Professor Gali Saidu, Department of Adult Education and Community Service, has been re-appointed as the Head, Department of Adult Education and Community Services, effective December 30, 2024.

2. Dr. N.M. Nasidi, Department of Agriculture and Environmental Engineering, has been appointed as the Head, Department of Agriculture and Environmental Engineering, effective December 2024.

3. Dr. Shariff Umar Abdussalam, Department of Clinical Pharmacology, has been appointed as the Faculty Examination Officer, Faculty Board of Basic Clinical Sciences, effective November 20, 2024, to November 19, 2026.
