Bayero University Kano Celebrates Prof. Hajara Umar Sanda's Historic Achievement

Professor Hajara Umar Sanda has made history as the first female Professor of Mass Communication at Bayero University, Kano (BUK). Her promotion, which took effect in September 2023, marks a significant milestone in the institution's academic history.

She also served as a Fulbright visiting scholar at Ohio University in the United States between 2011 and 2012.
