Co-hosted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Shanghai Municipality, this annual competition marked a significant milestone in China’s educational landscape. It served as the nation’s first specialized event aimed at promoting high-quality, full employment for college graduates. The overarching theme, “Building Young People’s Dreams and Setting Sail for the Future,” emphasized fostering moral integrity, promoting career planning, and providing a platform to enhance employment opportunities while maintaining a balance between talent supply and demand.
The competition spanned school, provincial, and national levels, catering to both underclassmen pursuing a “career development” track and upperclassmen focusing on the “employment” track. Additionally, a teaching competition track for college educators in career development and employment guidance courses enriched the event’s offerings.
