Borno State University, Hold It's 4TH Orientation Ceremony For Newly Admitted Students
The Borno State University (BOSU) has held its forth orientation ceremony for students admitted for the 2022/2023 academic session monitored by myschoolnews.
The Borno State University (BOSU) has held its forth orientation ceremony for students admitted for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The ceremony took place at the University premises where the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe , declared the orientation open and called on the students to obey the rules and the regulations of the university.
He encourage them to be of good behavior on campus without associating or involving themselves into prostitutions, smoking and any other immoral behavior within the campus.
The Vice Chancellor, expressed delight and optimism that by the end of this year the university will graduate its first set of students with good moral and character.
He therefore charged them not to let themselves drop out from the university.
The Registrar, Malam Zanna M. Kashim in his welcome address called on the students to learn the purpose why GST was introduced into the curriculum of the university system, and to shun examination malpractice and any other immoral behavior within the campus. He said they should be lectured, guided and counselled throughout their stay within the four walls of the university until their graduation.
He said life on campus, should teach them appropriate manner of behavior and how to conduct themselves to avoid all criminal tendencies like drug abuse and so on.
Papers on different topic were presented by resource persons at the ceremony.
