Borno State University Lauded as Best State University by NANS President

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) President, Mr. Olushola Oladoja, has commended Borno State University (BOSU) as the best state university in the country. Oladoja made this remark during a courtesy visit to BOSU's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babagana Gutti, where he assessed student welfare and showed solidarity with the university leadership.

Oladoja praised Professor Gutti's leadership qualities and commitment to student well-being, highlighting BOSU's open-door policy as exemplary.

The NANS president expressed satisfaction with the care and attention given to BOSU students and appealed for a student bus and student center to further enhance student experience.

Professor Gutti welcomed the NANS leadership and encouraged them to continue monitoring student welfare nationwide. He assured the university's support and directed the Dean of Student Affairs to work on establishing a student center.

Olushola Oladoja was elected NANS President in February 2025, promising to advocate for students' rights, quality education, and better welfare conditions. His visit to BOSU reflects the association's commitment to ensuring conducive learning environments across Nigerian institutions.
