Borno State University New VC Professor Babagana Gutti Calls for Collaboration with NSCDC

Professor Babagana Gutti, the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Borno State University, has emphasized the need for collaboration between the university and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Borno state command.

This call was made during a familiarization visit to the NSCDC Borno State Command, where Professor Gutti was accompanied by the Registrar, Zanna Mustapha Kashim, and other management staff.

The Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of working together to promote peace, stability, and quality education within the university and beyond. He stressed that the university is a hub for the youth, and it's essential to instill good moral values, secure their lives and property, and ensure a conducive learning environment [1).

ACG Musa Farouk Boyi, the state commandant, congratulated Professor Gutti on his appointment and commended Governor Bagana Umara Zulum for approving the selection. ACG Boyi assured Professor Gutti of his commitment to supporting the university's initiatives, emphasizing the value of collaboration in achieving common goals and fostering a safer community.
