Brilliant Lady Sydney Dupree Shines Bright as Best Graduating Student at Spelman College
Spelman College, known for its commitment to empowering Black women, recognized Sydney as one of the four best-graduating students in the 2023 graduating class. During her time at Spelman, Sydney actively contributed to the academic and cultural environment. She served on the executive board of the Brains With Beauty Project, a non-profit organization focusing on education and empowerment for Black girls and young women.

Sydney Dupree has achieved academic excellence as the best graduating student at Spelman College, United States. Graduating with a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average in Theatre Arts, Sydney earned the prestigious distinction of Summa Cum Laude.

Sydney showcased her creativity and dedication with the presentation of "DADDY: A Live Walk-Thru Drama About Human Trafficking" at Spelman. This theatrical production, addressing the underreported issue of human trafficking disproportionately affecting Black women, demonstrated Sydney's commitment to raising awareness and fostering protection within the community.
Expressing the significance of her performance, Sydney highlighted the need to shed light on the tactics used by predators to coerce young Black women. She emphasized the importance of awareness for self-protection. Beyond her academic achievements, Sydney's passion extends to acting, drawing, painting, and writing. She is currently signed with Atlanta’s Forward Agency as a television/film actress, with aspirations to leverage her acting experience towards a career as a casting director.
