BUK Announces Appointments and Re-appointments

The management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced the following appointments and re-appointments:

1. Professor Talatu Mohammed Barwa - Re-appointed as Dean, Dangote Business School, effective May 30, 2024, to May 29, 2025.

2. Professor Yakubu Magaji Azare - Re-appointed as Director, Centre for Research in Nigerian Languages, Translation and Folklore, effective May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2026.

4. Professor Muhammad Hamza - Appointed as Director, Centre for Infectious Diseases Research, effective April 22, 2024.

5. Professor Anas Ibrahim Yahaya - Appointed as Director, Centre for Biotechnology Research, effective April 22, 2024.

6. Dr. Abubakar Hassan Ibrahim - Appointed as Head, Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, effective April 29, 2024.

9. Dr. Sabiu Zakari Yarima - Appointed as Deputy Director (Research), Centre for Gender Studies, effective April 29, 2024.
