Regrettably, it has been observed that some members of the University community are misusing the electricity in both offices and residential areas. The Management appeals to both staff and students for responsible use of electricity to aid in minimizing the substantial bills associated with consumption on the campuses. It is disheartening to note that lights in residential areas and certain offices remain unnecessarily illuminated even during the daytime.
Furthermore, the Management urges staff in residential areas to refrain from utilizing electricity for commercial purposes, emphasizing the non-cost-effectiveness of such activities.

The tireless efforts of the Management to ensure consistent power supply for staff and students have yielded success, and with this restored power supply, a collective effort is required to manage consumption responsibly. Failure to adhere to prudent usage may lead to a discontinuation of this service by KEDCO, adversely affecting the entire University community.
As we approach the Month of Ramadan, the Management sees the restoration of adequate power supply as a source of comfort. The community is reminded not to leave appliances on when not in use, and appropriate measures will be taken against those who do not comply with these directives.
