BUK Staff Wives Association Unveils New Strategy, Seeks Partnership with WOFAN

The Bayero University Kano Staff Wives Association has unveiled a new strategic direction aimed at improving the livelihoods of its members through a partnership with the Women Farmers Advancement Network, WOFAN.

The Association disclosed that the partnership will focus on empowering members with skills, resources, and opportunities that can enhance household income and promote self-reliance.

According to the leadership of the Association, the collaboration with WOFAN is expected to provide access to training in agriculture, agro-processing, and other income-generating activities tailored to women.

The initiative is part of efforts to strengthen welfare programmes for staff families and contribute to broader community development within and around Bayero University Kano.

Further details on the modalities of the partnership are expected to be announced following engagements with WOFAN.
