BUK Vice Chancellor Commends Deputy Senate President’s Support for University Development During National Assembly Visit

The management of Bayero University, Kano(BUK), led by its Vice Chancellor Prof. Haruna Musa, fsi, has commended the Deputy Senate President, Barau I. Jibrin (Maliya), for his unwavering support towards the growth and development of the institution.

During a courtesy visit to the Deputy Senate President in his office at the National Assembly in Abuja, the Vice Chancellor, speaking on behalf of the university’s management, staff, and students, lauded Senator Barau’s “immense contributions to the University Community.”

Professor Musa highlighted the Senator’s personal sacrifices and unwavering generosity, with special reference to his proposal to upgrade the New Campus Football Stadium, describing the gesture as “a true reflection of his deep commitment to humanity, faith, and community development.”

“The University wholeheartedly acknowledges this laudable gesture and prays that Almighty Allah rewards you abundantly with good health, enduring prosperity, and continued blessings,” the Vice Chancellor stated.

In his response, Senator Barau thanked the BUK management for the visit and reaffirmed his dedication to educational advancement, emphasizing that youth development remains at the top of his agenda as they are the driving force of societal progress.

“We will not relent on this path. Let’s do it together,” he assured.
