In a statement signed by the university management, the public was warned against making payments into any account that does not bear the name of Coal City University. The management stressed that such actions are clear attempts to defraud unsuspecting applicants.
According to the announcement, the only legitimate sources of admission information and application forms are the university’s official channels. Suspicious activities or individuals claiming affiliation with the university in this manner should be reported immediately via admissions@ccu.edu.ng or registrar@ccu.edu.ng.
For verified details on the admission process, applicants are urged to visit the official admission portal at portal.ccu.edu.ng or the university website https://ccu.edu.ng. Applications for degree, direct entry, transfer, and JUPEB programmes can also be processed through these channels, or by visiting the school in person.
The university emphasized that it will not add applicants to any online business groups, including those on TikTok.
Coal City University reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a reliable and authentic admission process, while encouraging applicants to exercise caution.
