College of Education Nguru Strengthens Ties with Local Security Agencies

The Provost of College of Education Nguru, Professor Ali Manzo Manzo, has embarked on a series of courtesy visits to local security institutions, including the 241 Recce Battalion Army Barracks and the Nigerian Correctional Centre, Nguru.

These visits aim to foster collaboration between the college and security agencies in the community, promoting a secure environment conducive to learning and development.

During his visit to the 241 Recce Battalion Army Barracks, Professor Manzo emphasized the importance of partnership between educational institutions and security agencies in maintaining peace and stability. At the Nigerian Correctional Centre, Nguru, the Provost was briefed on the centre's activities, reforms, and reformatory programmes aimed at rehabilitating and reintegrating inmates. Professor Manzo commended the officers for their dedication and pledged the college's support in providing educational and reformatory initiatives to empower inmates and promote their positive transformation.
