ESUCOM announces the commencement of the 1st-semester lectures for the 2023/2024 academic session
All second-year students pursuing degrees in Medicine & Surgery, Anatomy, Nursing Science, and Medical Laboratory Science at the College of Medicine, Eastern State University College of Medicine (ESUCOM), are hereby informed that lectures for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic session will commence on Monday, November 6, 2023.
All second-year students pursuing degrees in Medicine & Surgery, Anatomy, Nursing Science, and Medical Laboratory Science at the College of Medicine, Eastern State University College of Medicine (ESUCOM), are hereby informed that lectures for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic session will commence on Monday, November 6, 2023.
This announcement comes with the approval of the College Management, and it signifies a significant milestone in the academic journey of these students. It is crucial to note that the list of cleared students from the Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences (FANS) will be released later in the month. In accordance with this, any student who does not qualify to continue with ESUCOM programs will be promptly withdrawn from the class.

Dr. Chinwe Chigbo, the College Secretary, conveyed this message on behalf of the College Management, ensuring that all students are aware of the commencement of lectures and the necessary academic procedures to be followed. This commencement of the first semester lectures is a pivotal step toward achieving academic success, and the College encourages all students to be punctual, dedicated, and diligent in their studies.
This announcement was also shared with the Ag. Provost, Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (FBMS), and the Associate Dean of FBMS to ensure that all relevant academic authorities are informed. With the beginning of the new academic session, ESUCOM is excited to support its students on their educational journey, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their chosen fields of study.
