Following the just-concluded 2024/2025 UTME, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the cutoff marks for universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

Following the just-concluded 2024/2025 UTME, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the cutoff marks for universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

According to JAMB, the minimum score for federal, state, and private universities is 150 out of 400. For polytechnics and colleges of education, the minimum scores are 120 and 100, respectively.

These cutoff marks represent the minimum UTME scores required for admission screening. Some top universities have set their own higher cutoffs, as follows:

  • University of Lagos (UNILAG): 200
  • University of Ibadan (UI): 200
  • University of Benin (UNIBEN): 200
  • University of Ilorin (UNILORIN): 180
  • Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH): 180
  • Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU): 200
  • Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE): 150
  • University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT): 150
  • University of Abuja: 180
  • Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA): 180  
  • Lagos State University (LASU): 180
  • Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH): 180
  • Kwara State University (KWASU): 140
  • Delta State University (DELSU): 140
  • Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU): 150
