In a recent announcement made in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, the Secondary Education Board (SEB) has pledged to integrate a national curriculum aimed at enhancing the quality of education in the state.
During the inaugural session of the board, Mrs. Lilian Nwankwo, the chairperson, emphasized the pivotal role of formal education in modern development and nation-building. She underscored the board's commitment to prioritizing effective teaching and learning methodologies.

"We recognize that formal education serves as the bedrock of modern development and nation-building," stated Mrs. Nwankwo. "Our primary focus will be on ensuring the proper implementation of the national curriculum to attain qualitative education for our state."
Moreover, she assured stakeholders that the board would strive to uphold its obligations to the state and meet the expectations of the government. "We will do everything in our power to advance secondary education in Ebonyi State and not disappoint His Excellency," she affirmed.
