The Faculty of Law at Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has achieved a historic victory by winning the 33rd Christof Heyns African Human Rights Moot Court Competition, held in Kigali, Rwanda. This marks the first time a Nigerian university has won this prestigious competition.

The EBSU team, led by Dr. Mrs. Chioma Vivian Iteshi, Director of the Law Clinic, and her students Cynthia Nwamaka Ibor and Agu Ebeke Michael, triumphed over 63 other Anglophone universities from around the world. This victory is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and excellence of the students and faculty involved.
