Edo Community Seeks Urgent Help in Search for Missing DELSU Undergraduate

The Iru Egbede community in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State has raised alarm over the disappearance of Faith Omodon, a 200-level undergraduate student of Business Administration at Delta State University (DELSU). Faith was last seen on Saturday after leaving her home for the farm.

Faith's father, Edward Omodon, received the distressing news while attending a community gathering, where cries of her disappearance echoed through the area.

According to Ikpoba Johnbull, the head of the village vigilante group, efforts were made to locate Faith immediately after the news broke. The search extended to neighboring villages but yielded no results, except for the leftovers found in her lunch flask.

Following a fruitless night spent combing the area, Faith's father was advised to formally report her disappearance to the Abudu Police Division. Donald Egboko, the National Youth Chairman of the community, appealed to security agencies for assistance in locating Faith.

The case has since been transferred to the State Police Command for further investigation, as confirmed by the Divisional Police Officer, Iyayi Kenneth, of the Abudu Police Division.
