Edo State University Awards Undergraduate Scholarship to 26 Students for 2023/2024 Session

The Management of the Edo State University (EDSU) has awarded ndergraduate scholarship to 26 students for the 2023/2024 academic session, Myschoolnews gathered.

The Vice-Chancellor Engr. Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor ably represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics in his remarks stated that; Edo State University Uzairue since inception has been at the forefront of promoting quality education for developing students' learning through the provision of standard educational programmes and facilities.

Since its inception in 2016 Edo State University Uzairue has provided scholarships for the following number of beneficiaries.

2016 – thirteen (13) Students

2017 – Eleven (11) Students

2018 – Eleven (11) Students

2019 – Twelve (12) Students

2022 – Nineteen (19) Student

The full and indigent scholarship awards that began in 2016, had seen a steady growth in the number of applicants to date. The increase in the number is a testament to the rapid technological advancement available and the mode of teaching and learning available in our university.

It is with great pleasure that I share the news of the award of five (5) full and Twenty-one (21) indigent scholarships to deserving applicants at Edo State University  Uzairue for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

The Scholarship is spread across range of courses from Engineering, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc. depending on the course of study of the applicants.
