Ekiti NSCDC Commandant Seeks Stronger Collaboration with ABUAD During Courtesy Visit to Aare Afe Babalola
Ekiti NSCDC Commandant, Toma Matthew Enya, paid a courtesy visit to Aare Afe Babalola, Founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), to strengthen collaboration between the Corps and the institution.

The newly appointed Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ekiti State, Toma Matthew Enya, has paid a courtesy visit to the Founder and Chancellor of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Aare Afe Babalola (SAN, OFR, CON).
During the visit, Commandant Enya delivered a goodwill message from the NSCDC Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi (mni, OFR), while seeking Aare Afe Babalola’s continued support for the Corps in Ekiti State. He assured that the NSCDC would strengthen its collaboration with ABUAD, particularly in enhancing security through the Safe School Initiative and other key services.
Aare Afe Babalola, who warmly received the delegation, took them on a tour of the university’s world-class facilities, including the ABUAD Multi-System Hospital, Industrial Park, Power Generating Station, and ABUAD Farms. Expressing his appreciation for the visit, he pledged the university’s commitment to supporting the Corps by designing specialized programs in peace and security, strategic studies, and forensic science to aid the NSCDC in fulfilling its core mandate.
The visit underscores a strategic partnership aimed at bolstering security and academic collaboration between ABUAD and the NSCDC in Ekiti State.
