Ekiti State University (EKSU) has officially inducted 59 graduate nurses from its College of Medicine for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The ceremony also celebrated the institution’s best graduating student in the Department of Nursing, Oyedotun Oluwanifemi Emmanuel (RN, RM, RPHN, BNSc.), who graduated with First Class Honours.

Oluwanifemi, newly inducted into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, spoke on behalf of his peers, expressing gratitude to the lecturers for their guidance throughout the rigorous training. He also acknowledged the support of parents, stating, “We all are winners; I stand here as your mouthpiece. Surmounting the hurdles shows that we deserve champions, and I am proud of us all.”

The induction marks a significant milestone for the graduates as they embark on their professional careers in nursing and midwifery, contributing to healthcare development in Nigeria.
