Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has authorized the disbursement of N467,061,600 to settle accumulated salary arrears owed to staff members of the Enugu State College of Education, Technical (ESCET). The announcement comes as part of Governor Mbah's commitment to revitalizing the state's education sector.

The approved amount encompasses eight months of overdue salaries for various categories of workers at ESCET. This includes N384 million allocated for 299 academic and non-academic staff members, N69.2 million for part-time lecturers, and N13.8 million for casual staff.
