ESUT Mourns Loss of Professor Edwin Chukwudi Onyeneje
The ESUT Vice Chancellor, Professor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, has extended his condolences on behalf of the university community.

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) community mourns the loss of Professor Edwin Chukwudi Onyeneje, a distinguished member of the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences.

Professor Onyeneje passed away on June 26, 2024, after a brief illness, as conveyed by his wife, Mrs. Cecilia Obianuju Onyeneje, in a letter to the ESUT Vice Chancellor.
The Burial wake-keep would hold on Monday, July 29, at Omni Santurim Chaplaincy, Thinker's Corner, Enugu, at 4 PM. Other burial arrangements include:
- Thursday, August 1, 2024: Wake at his country home, Amagu Village, Ebe, Udi Local Government Area, Enugu State.

- Friday, August 2, 2024: Requiem mass and interment at his hometown, Amagu Village, Ebe, Udi LGA, Enugu State.

Professor Onyeneje's illustrious career included roles as the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ohodo, former Rector of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, and former Deputy Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu.
