To qualify for assistance, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Willingness to Study: Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to studying at FCE Okene.

- Local Indigene Requirement: Applicants should be indigenes of Adavi, Okene, Okehi, Ajaokuta, or Ogori Magongo Local Government Areas.

- JAMB Not Required: Students can apply even without a Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result.
