Ibrahim Abdullahi Mazangari overcomes challenges to graduate with a degree in Political Science from Kaduna State University after dropping out of Ahmadu Bello University.
Ibrahim Abdullahi Mazangari’s story is one of determination and hope. In 2014, he started his studies at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria, excited to pursue his dreams. He worked hard and made it to his third year, but then faced unexpected challenges that forced him to drop out.
“I felt crushed,” Ibrahim says. “It seemed like all my efforts were in vain, but I knew I had to keep going.”
In 2019, Ibrahim decided to give it another try. He enrolled at Kaduna State University (KASU), where he faced new challenges and doubts. However, with strong faith and support from family and friends, he pushed forward.

Now, as he graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Ibrahim is proud of what he has achieved. He dedicates his success to his late grandmother, Mama Abu, who always encouraged him to persevere.
“Her belief in me kept me going,” Ibrahim shares, filled with emotion. “This degree is for her.”
On graduation day, Ibrahim felt a mix of pride and gratitude. His journey from dropping out of ABU to graduating from KASU shows that setbacks can lead to success. He hopes his story inspires others to keep fighting for their dreams, no matter the challenges.
